Twilio SCIM API Now Generally Available for Automated User Provisioning Twilio has announced the general availability of its SCIM API, enabling automated user provisioning and deprovisioning directly from Identity Providers (IdPs). The SCIM 2.0 standard integration allows organizations to keep Twilio access synchronized with team changes through OAuth applications created in the Twilio Admin Center. Users can create new Twilio accounts, update user details, and deactivate access automatically via SCIM API endpoints. Okta is supported out of the box, while Azure AD and Google Workspace require custom configuration. This capability streamlines identity and access management workflows, reducing manual administrative overhead and improving security posture by ensuring access rights remain current as organizational structures evolve.
